Online FCAT Tool for Parents and Students
The Florida Department of Education has developed an online tool to help parents and families throughout the state learn about changes to our standards and assessments.
This new resource, SuccessMeasures, will provide parents and students with information on what is being taught and tested in our classrooms.
Log on today to learn more about:
· The materials students will be learning.
· When and how students will be tested.
· Why our assessment program is changing.
Use these three easy steps to learn more:

STEP # 2 – Select grade level and school year

MealpayPlus Giveaway
MealpayPlus is giving away a free Dell Inspiron Duo Tablet PC to one lucky MealpayPlus parent! Parents are automatically eligible to win the prize with any payment made via MealpayPlus.com. The giveaway will run from November 16th through December 12th. Additional details will be provided to the parents via e-mail and are available on the MealpayPlus website.
Parents must have an active MealpayPlus account prior to November 16th in order to be eligible.
FOCUS Parent Access
Parents will now have access to Liberty County School District’s new Student Information System, FOCUS. In order to access this system, parents must fill out the registration form which can be found here. This form is also being sent home with the students. Only one form has to be completed per household. The form allows multiple student information to be provided even if students are located at different schools. The form can be returned to any of the district schools. A list of FAQs can be found on the district website.
LCHS Football (Week of Sept. 5)
The LCHS football teams both suffered losses this week. Junior Varsity lost 0-8 to the Blountstown Tigers, giving them a record of 0 wins and 2 losses. The Varsity team lost to Bay High, who scored one touchdown, resulting in the score of 0-7. This brought the Varsity team to a 1 win/1 loss record.
School Lunch Menu
In an effort to serve you better, we have included the lunch menu on the site. It repeats every four weeks, the first week corresponding with the first week of school (i.e., we’re in Week 3 now). The permalink can be found on the sidebar to the right, or you can access it from here.
Labor Day
Monday, September 5th, is Labor Day. There is no school on this federal holiday.
School Starts the 22nd!
Liberty County High School welcomes the new freshmen from W.R. Tolar and Hosford Middle Schools, as well as returning students.
