FSU’s Magnet Lab Annual Open House is Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Open House is geared toward all ages, especially K-12 students. Open House features demonstrations, hands-on experiments, self-guided tours of our 370,000-square-foot facility, and the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the world’s leading research scientists. Their web site features audio slideshows of some of the demonstrations and activities that will be featured at Open House. This activity is always free and open to the public. The “unofficial” price of admission is a canned good or other non-perishable food item to benefit America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend, though it’s not at all required.
